No. 1 Star: Erik Condra, Ottawa Senators
There were two men standing in the way of the New Jersey Devils' juggernaut on Tuesday night. The first was goalie Craig Anderson, who stopped 31 shots. The second was Condra, the 24-year-old rookie right winger who beat Marty Brodeur in the second period and then with 2:13 left in regulation to give Ottawa a 2-1 victory.
No. 2 Star: Dan Hamhuis, Vancouver Canucks
The defenseman scored twice, including the game-winner in OT, as Vancouver defeated the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-3. After Alex Burrows missed on a penalty shot in the extra session, the Sedins cycled in the Phoenix zone, allowing Hamhuis to find room and fire a shot that beat Ilya Bryzgalov through the five-hole. Henrik Sedin had a goal and two assists while Daniel had three helpers.

David Booth, Clay Wilson and Marty Reasoner scored in the first period; Chicago rallied with goals by Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa in the second. Vokoun, who had 37 saves, snapped the Blackhawks' winning streak at eight.

Did you know? Matt Martin was credited with 14 hits for the Islanders. Why yes, the game was on Long Island, why do you ask?
Dishonorable mention: The Avalanche are 2-16-2 since Jan. 18. ... Tuukka Rask was shaky in yielding four goals to the Habs. ... Finally, if you haven't seen it, the incredibly scary scene in which Zedno Chara hit Max Pacioretty into the stanchion between the benches, sending the Habs forward to the hospital. The debate over the hit is raging.
I don´t know much about hockey but I am interested in learning. Every country has its star sport like soccer in Argentina. When I travelled there I was staying in one of those Buenos Aires apartments and all I heard about was football. I learnt a lot and now I still watch games on TV, it seems now it is the time for hockey. I will start searching for material about it!
